Fate gives all of us three teachers, three friends, three enemies, and three great loves in our lives. But these twelve are always disguised, and we can never know which one is which until we’ve loved them, left them, or fought them.

Luck is what happens to you when fate gets tired of waiting.

If fate doesn’t make you laugh, you just don’t get the joke.

And so, I remind myself … do not take this moment too seriously, nor fret over the events which have taken me here, to this moment. Do not look so far forward that I lose sight of this moment, right now. And it is ok to laugh a little at myself. Yes, fate is a bit of a joke, but a playful one. It slaps me on the back with a hearty laugh, but fate also has my back.
When I laugh at fate, fate laughs with me.
